Announcing the new SC United Cubs – Youngers Division

Under the coordination of Paul Wheatley and overseen by Club President, Roger Castle,

the San Clemente United Soccer Club has developed a specialized youngers division

focused on developing soccer talent and putting quality teams on the field from U8 to U10.

SC Cub members will be the foundation of the SC United Soccer Club as our specialized

coaches work to develop quality club players from the start. The Cubs’ coaches are

dedicated and experienced in working with younger soccer players and understand the

significance of developing a love for the game as well as the importance of scaffolding

training to meet the needs of the team and to further  develop the individual player.

Cub players will be asked to watch professional or college soccer matches in order to

better understand the game and its intricacies. In addition, Cubs will have opportunities

to attend several older division games within SC United to see the increased level of play

as they advance through the club.

The Cubs will have a slightly different uniform so they stand out from our older division

teams. In addition, they have their own training field at Castille Elementary in Mission

Viejo. The Cubs division will be managed by Sandy Avzaradel. Please feel free to email S

andy (sandyavzaradel1@gmail.com ) or Paul, (Paulwheatley30@hotmail.com ) for questions

regarding the SC Cubs!

Develop Athleticism For Soccer
